Buyer protection

What it covers

Every order placed through Dara is covered. If an item never arrives, or turns up significantly different from its listing — wrong item, undisclosed damage, or a counterfeit — you can raise it with us and we’ll put it right.

Why buying through Dara matters

Cover applies to orders placed on Dara. If you arrange a sale privately — paying a seller directly, or meeting outside the app — there’s no order for us to look into and nothing we can do to help. Keep the conversation and the payment on Dara and you stay covered.

If something goes wrong

Message the seller first — most problems are a misunderstanding and get sorted in a few messages. If that doesn’t resolve it, report the order from your orders page and our team will take it from there. We’ll ask you for photos and the details of what you received.

What isn’t covered

Second-hand clothing is sold as seen. Ordinary wear that the listing described or the photos showed, an item that simply doesn’t suit you, and a change of mind aren’t grounds for a claim — that’s what the measurements, condition and photos on a listing are for. Sales arranged off Dara aren’t covered either.

Summary only — see our terms for the full position.
